A calmer way to organize the internet
Our Team
Arbor Nota was created to solve a problem I was living through every day.
When I became a CMO, I was responsible for helping manage a broad marketing team across strategy, content, design, development, analytics, advertising, sales support, and operations. Like most modern teams, we depended on a growing collection of websites, documents, dashboards, logins, platforms, folders, resources, and workflows.
At first, it was manageable.
Then the tools multiplied. The links scattered. The browsers changed. The tabs piled up. Team members needed access to different resources at different times, and the systems we had were not built to make that easy. I needed a simple, reliable way to organize our team’s digital workspace, manage important resources, and help everyone get to the right place faster. I looked for a tool that solved the problem the way I needed it solved.
I could not find one.
So I started building Arbor Nota.

Arbor Nota is not another faceless productivity tool built around vague promises of “doing more.”
It started because I personally needed a better way to manage digital complexity. I needed something that worked across browsers, supported teams, made important resources easier to find, reduced tab overload, helped protect access, and gave people a clearer way to move through their daily work.
As someone with both a marketing and development background, I knew the problem from both sides. I understood the pressure managers feel when a team needs to move quickly, and I understood how software could be built to make that movement smoother.
Arbor Nota is the tool I wanted for my own work: organized, useful, secure, flexible, and calm.
Arbor Nota is built for teams that need better organization and collaboration, and for busy individuals who want a simpler way to manage their digital space.
It helps managers, teams, companies, creators, researchers, developers, students, teachers, and anyone else who depends on a large number of online resources.
At its core, Arbor Nota helps you bring order to the things you use every day:
The goal is not to make work feel more complicated. The goal is to help people feel less overwhelmed by the digital spaces they already depend on.
Bookmarks are usually treated like a small browser feature.
We see them differently.
Your saved links are often the map of your work, your research, your business, your school life, your creative projects, and your team’s daily operations. When those resources are messy, hidden, duplicated, outdated, or trapped inside one browser, everything gets harder.
Arbor Nota turns bookmarks into a real workspace.
It gives people a better way to organize, search, share, protect, revisit, and act on the resources that matter. It helps reduce the number of open tabs, keeps important tools accessible, and gives teams a cleaner way to collaborate around the pages they already use.
That matters because digital clutter is not just annoying. It slows people down. It creates stress. It causes knowledge to get lost. It makes teams less efficient. It makes simple tasks feel heavier than they should.
Arbor Nota exists to make that better.
The name Arbor Nota means “Tree Mark.”
That meaning matters to us.
From the beginning, I wanted Arbor Nota to have more than a feature list. I wanted it to have a personality, an identity, and a purpose worth building around. I wanted the company to solve a real problem while also doing something good outside of software.
That is why Arbor Nota is strongly connected to reforestation.
We care about trees, forests, ecosystems, and the animals that rely on them. We want the growth of Arbor Nota to support the growth and restoration of real forests. That mission gives our work a deeper purpose and keeps us focused on building something people genuinely want to support.
It also makes the brand feel alive.
I wanted to build something that did not feel cold, corporate, or forgettable. I wanted to build a company with warmth, character, and care. I wanted Arbor Nota to be the kind of brand my wife and daughter could look at and feel excited about. Something useful. Something thoughtful. Something that makes people smile while still solving a serious problem.
That spirit is part of the product.
We believe digital organization should feel calm, not overwhelming.
We believe powerful tools should still be simple to use.
We believe teams should be able to move quickly without losing track of the resources that help them work.
We believe individuals should have more control over their digital space.
We believe privacy, security, and accessibility should be built into the foundation, not treated as afterthoughts.
We believe software can be practical and personal at the same time.
And we believe a company can care about its customers, its product, and the world around it without turning that mission into empty marketing.
Arbor Nota is still growing, but the direction is clear.
We are building a better way to manage the internet you actually use. A place where your links, tools, documents, workflows, backups, and shared resources can live together in a way that makes sense.
We are building it for people who are tired of losing important resources, tired of messy browser bookmarks, tired of juggling too many tabs, and tired of software that creates more friction than it removes.
Most of all, we are building Arbor Nota for people who want their digital life to feel a little lighter.
If you have ever felt buried by browser tabs, scattered links, messy team resources, or digital tools that should be easier to manage, Arbor Nota was built for you.
We would love for you to join us as we work to reduce digital complexity, help people feel more organized, and support healthier forests along the way.
Sincerely, Timothy Prescott
Arbor Nota was built on the belief of giving back to this beautiful world we live in. Every month, we donate to reforestation programs to help rebuild damaged ecosystems and provide homes to many endangered species.
